Startup Showdown is a unique opportunity for early-stage startups to present to well-known investors and innovators in the tech ecosystem as they look to take their company to the next level. All finalists will pitch to VC investors while at the same time building long-lasting connections in the innovation ecosystem. This is the competition to be a part of, showcasing the next frontier of innovation and the most promising talent of the day.
Hosted monthly by Panoramic Ventures, there are 6 open application periods and 12 events each year.
Startup Showdown will be fully hyrbid, hosted live from Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, November 16 and broadcast globally.

Dr. Paul Judge has cofounded three companies that were acquired and has invested in over 30 companies. He is Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Pindrop. Previously Paul was cofounder of TechSquare Labs. Paul was also Co-Founder of Purewire, a web security company, that was acquired by Barracuda in 2008. Paul served as Chief Research Officer at Barracuda through its IPO in 2013. Prior to this, Paul was CTO of CipherTrust, a leader in email security, that was acquired by Secure Computing in 2006. Paul is the lead inventor of over 30 patents and has received many awards including being named to the Fortune’s Top 40 Under 40 List.
Dan is co-founder of Charlotte’s technology & entrepreneurship center called Packard Place, whose alumni have raised over 2 Billion dollars in capital and have had over 200 Million in exits.
Dan also co-founded RevTechLabs, which runs the QueenCity Fintech, ranked as one of the top global fintech accelerator programs, and RevTech Labs Healthtech. Dan is on the cap table of more Charlotte region start ups than any other investor in Charlotte’s history.
Mr. Estevez is a Venture Partner with Accel Partners, a global leader in venture capital with past investments in top companies such as Atlassian, Crowdstrike, Dropbox, Facebook, Qualtrics, Slack, Squarespace, Spotify and Venmo. As a Venture Partner based in South Carolina, Mr. Estevez helps existing portfolio companies based outside of Silicon Valley with their growth opportunities and scale challenges.
Mr. Estevez is also a limited partner in various Accel funds. Mr. Estevez is also a board advisor to several leading venture capital firms of the Southeast United States, including Construct Capital, Knoll Ventures and Noro-Moseley Partners.
Will Weinraub is a serial entrepreneur and currently CEO and Co-Founder of OnChain Studios, the makers for the NFT gaming platform Cryptoys. Before OnChain Studios, Will founded Miami-based startup LiveNinja which was acquired in 2017.
Will also invests in startups through Flamingo Capital and runs The Local Leaders Collective, an organization that helps founders overcome challenges through peer support. On the personal side, Will is obsessed with Miami sports (the Heat and Dolphins in particular), has three kids (Victoria, Kevin, and Tyler) and an Australian Shepherd (Ace). He also has a strong affinity towards really good southern bbq and thinks the best flavor combination in the world is chocolate and peanut butter.
